Dear Sirs,
as part of a security update from the manufacturer, we are going to install a security update for one of our two core routers in data center DUS during the night of Wednesday, 29.01.2020 to Thursday, 30.01.2020 between 1:00 and 5:00 o'clock software updates.
This work also serves your increased supply security, so we ask for your understanding for this maintenance measure. We do not expect any influence on the availability of the Internet connection, as the redundant device is always available, but there is still a small residual risk. During the maintenance it can come to changed routing and slightly higher latencies to external destinations.
We have taken extensive precautions to further minimize this residual risk. Please forward this letter to your customers if necessary, so that they are also informed about the date and can also prepare for it. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
